Welcome to Jlee Saves,

I decided to start blogging because I became obsessed with saving money when I shop. Using coupons has sparked a new era in my life and through this site, it has made it very easy to organize.

I will update my favorite links on this site on a regular bases as I find great deals to share.

Also, while compounding my savings, I can earn a small fee while I’m clicking. I’m setting up a page if you would like to join in.

History

I am sure you have or are in the same habit that I was in by traveling to the grocery store on a routine basis and purchasing the same items every trip. This same mundane trip would result in the same habitual dinner routine. In this boring routine, I didn’t recognize the savings and excitement that was being made behind the scenes.

What I have ventured into is a charismatic method of adventure, treasure hunting, competitiveness and new products which has our family treated to a variety of goods at very reasonable expense.

My adventure began one Sunday when my husband showed me an article in the local newspaper of a coupon queen that was beating the everyday system. Although reluctant, I decided “I can do this”.

During my first couple of months of excitement and sharing with my friends, I seemed to be the only one motivated. Partial discouragement from my husband and friends came about with “you are buying items you don’t need”. This is when my determination kicked in and now after a shopping spree, my husband meets me at the door as a kid at Christmas to see what is new.

The friends and family were correct in their statement but this adventure has allowed us to sample new products, increased our inventory of everyday goods and saved us many $$.

I view this coupon quest as an exciting challenge of finding the hidden egg, a different looking egg and a different tasting egg that is free.

Bottom line, buy items you would not necessarily purchase due to price and don’t buy the items you don’t need.

Your website has been a useful money saving tool. As a busy student, taekwondo competitor, girlfriend, ect. I hardly find time to search, cut, and manage coupons.
