There are 2 methods that I have used![]()
When I First started out, I used the binder with the baseball cards. Which you insert coupons into the card holders. On Sunday I would get the news papers and clip clip clip. I realized that was a job and it took to much time. I know some people like doing it this way which is fine. I decided to do it differently.
The method that I use, you clip less and it works for me. I only cut the coupons that I need for each week’s trip. All of the other coupons stay in the insert, where they are easy to find when I’m planning my next shopping trip.
Here is how I organize my coupons.
On Sunday when I get my news papers I take out all the inserts and put them in the funny paper. The reason I use the funny paper is because it has the date written across the top and the print is larger and easy to see. Then I take the inserts and match the coupons together. Then I store them in an expandable file.

I use one pocket for each month and when I’m looking for my coupons by date it makes it much easier. When I’m ready to plan my shopping trip, I pull out that whole funny paper with all my coupons in it. Then I clip what Is needed only. This method works great because I’m able to put the newspaper on the counter and find the coupons that are needed without having to dig through the expandable file. It works great for me!
This is a quick, easy system to use. You’ll be amazed how quickly you can plan your shopping trips with it.
On any typical trip, you might use 10 to 15 coupons. Wouldn’t you rather just cut the few you need than the 40 or more that arrive in the inserts each week?
