Walgreen’s has a “Catalina” program called Register Rewards. A Register Reward is a coupon that prints after you make a qualifying purchase. This Register Reward can be use on your next purchase.

Walgreen’s ads Qualifying purchases:

On the Pedia Care, it shows that you will receive back $4.00 in Register Rewards.

· You can not use this RR to purchase the same item.

· If you buy 2 of the same item, on that RR Deal only one will print out. You can purchase this item on a separate transaction, if you want more then one of that product.

· If you buy 3 different RR items in one transaction, one reward will print for each product.

When you look in Walgreen’s ads, look for items that will give you Register Rewards = RR. Sometimes they are the better deals and even FREE!

When you’re looking through Walgreens circular you will also see in-ad coupons. These are store coupons that make up the price of the item. It is Walgreens policy to allow you to use a store coupon in combination with a manufacture coupon on one item.

When your ready to check out, hand in your coupons in this order. That way you will not hear any register beeps.

NOTE: Walgreen’s will not allow you to have more coupons then items. Count your RR’s as coupons. If you have more coupons then items, you have to use fillers. Filler = cheapest items you can find. This could be a single pencils or candy that’s on sale.

Tips things you can do

If item is Buy 1, Get 1 Free then you can use 2 Manufacture coupons on each item.
You can use Walgreen’s in ad and Manufacture coupon on same item.

When I first started, I wrote on an index card the order of the coupons to keep it straight. I did this for Walgreen’s and CVS. It didn’t take long to remember it.
